Collecting pine nuts
Collecting pine cones is hard and painstaking work. The pickers arrange the expedition and go to the taiga for 2-3 weeks, within particular time, so as not to deprive wild animals of food and have time to finish collecting before cold weather.

The main way to collect pine cones is climbing a tree with a special tool - a long rod with a hook. The danger for the pickers is that nut pine is a tall and, at the same time, fragile tree species.

After collecting, the cones are delivered to the villagers who know how to properly process them to extract valuable nuts. First, cones are passed through a special grater. Where they are peeled and crushed. Then they are passed through a sieve, winnowed and dried.

Immediately after drying, the nuts are sealed in vacuum bags so that to avoid foreign impurities during transportation and you can enjoy a unique Siberian product immediately after opening the package.
